The role involves transporting the client to the day program and activities, accompanying him on recreational outings such as golf and meals, and providing friendly companionship to support independence and social interaction.

Qualifications

• 2+ years caregiving or personal assistant experience required.
• Fluent in English with clear, friendly communication.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Willingness to work evenings, overnight shifts, and some weekends.
• Ability to commute to Pleasanton or relocate before starting.

Responsibilities

• Provide transportation to day program and activities using the family vehicle.
• Accompany on recreational outings and social activities.
• Offer friendly companionship while encouraging independence and routines.
• Ensure safety and comfort at home and in the community.
• Stay overnight on scheduled nights; private bedroom and bathroom provided.
• Keep family informed about daily activities and concerns.
