Job summary

NuCare Senior Living in Waunakee, WI seeks an experienced Caregiver to deliver compassionate, high-quality care in a homelike setting. You will assist with ADLs, meals, medication support (if delegated), and resident engagement while maintaining dignity and independence.

You will report to supervision, document daily care details, participate in trainings, and adhere to infection control and DHS guidelines to ensure resident safety and well-being.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum age 18.
• Prior caregiving experience preferred; CBRF or CNA training strongly preferred.
• Must pass caregiver background check per Wisconsin requirements.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be physically able to lift, push, and assist residents up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Support meals, hydration, and nutritional needs.
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry as needed.
• Report changes in resident condition to supervision.
• Administer medications and delegated health tasks if authorized.
• Maintain accurate care records and documentation.
• Foster resident relationships and social engagement.
• Attend staff meetings and trainings.
• Follow infection control and confidentiality protocols.
• Ensure compliance with state regulations (CBRF/DHS).
