Job summary

LakeHouse Senior Living is seeking compassionate caregivers to support Independent Living, Assisted Living and Memory Care residents. You will monitor residents, assist with daily activities, and help maintain a safe, dignified environment.

This role emphasizes teamwork, empathy, and reliable performance across shifts. Applicants with CNA certification are preferred; a High School diploma or GED is required, and CPR/First Aid certifications are valued but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• Certified Nurse’s Aide certification preferred.
• High School diploma/GED required.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• CPR certification preferred.
• First Aid certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Care for a designated group of residents during the shift; know where residents are and check on them.
• Observe, report and document symptoms and conditions of residents.
• Respond to security system and resident call bells promptly.
• Notify supervisor or Health Care Coordinator if a resident has increased care needs.
• Assist with continence management and sanitation duties.
• Serve and collect food trays and assist with meals as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of resident rooms and work areas.
• Practice good standard care precautions for cleanliness and health.
• Help residents maintain independence and safety.
• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, ambulation, transferring, eating).
• Engage residents in life skills and enrichment activities.
• Greet and assist all customers, guests, family, residents, vendors and team members.

Education

Certified Nurse’s Aide certification
