Job summary

Sevita is seeking compassionate caregivers in San Angelo, TX to support individuals with developmental disabilities in home and community settings. You’ll assist with personal care, help participants pursue goals, and build meaningful relationships.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred.
• Skills: Communication, adaptability, multi-tasking, teamwork, time-management.
• Behaviors: Patient, compassionate, reliable, responsible.
• Vehicle: Valid Driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with personal hygiene.
• Support individuals with behavioral challenges and other complex needs.
• Help participants with budgeting, exercise, and nutrition goals.
• Encourage participation in community activities.
