Sevita is hiring a caregiver to assist individuals with developmental disabilities in Gonzales, Texas. You’ll support personal care, daily living activities, and independence in a compassionate, patient setting while building meaningful relationships with participants.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred.
• Strong communication, adaptability, multitasking, teamwork and time-management.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance.

Responsibilities

• Assist people with personal hygiene and support individuals who have behavioral challenges and other complex needs.
• Help participants be part of the community and engage in activities they enjoy.
• Support participants with developmental goals like budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.
• Develop real, meaningful relationships and provide compassionate, patient care.
