Job summary

REM Community Services is seeking a caring caregiver to support individuals with developmental disabilities in community-based settings. You will help participants grow, learn, and live well while building meaningful relationships within a mission-driven Sevita team.

Qualifications

• Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Help participants grow, learn, and live well.
• Develop real, meaningful relationships with individuals you serve.
• Provide support to help participants participate in the community and enjoy activities.
• Assist with personal hygiene and support individuals with behavioral challenges and other complex needs.
