Job summary

Brookdale in Hattiesburg, MS seeks compassionate caregivers to support residents with daily living activities, meals, and personal care. You will follow individual care plans, document changes, and collaborate with a supportive team to enhance quality of life.

High school diploma or GED plus 3–6 months related experience is preferred. Training is provided; strong communication and empathy are essential for success and growth within Brookdale.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and 3–6 months related experience.
• Knowledge of dementia is a plus and patient safety is essential.
• Must be able to follow care plans and document changes.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting and transfers.
• Serve meals and encourage proper nutrition and fluids.
• Document changes in health or behavior for supervisors.
• Support Daily Path engagement and social activities.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful living environment.
• Follow safety procedures and medical policies as required.
