Job summary

Sevita is seeking a dedicated caregiver for REM Community Services in Minnesota. You will support individuals with personal care and help them engage in community activities, contributing to a fulfilling daily life.

We offer $18.94/hour, full benefits, a 401(k) with a 3% company match, paid time off and holiday pay, and a supportive team focused on participant wellbeing. Six months in human services is preferred, with strong communication and reliable teamwork.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred.
• Strong communication, adaptability, multi-tasking, teamwork, and time-management skills.
• Patient, compassionate, reliable, and responsible behaviors expected.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with personal hygiene and support those with behavioral challenges or other complex needs.
• Help participants participate in community activities and work toward goals like budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.
• Build real relationships with participants and communicate effectively with supervisors and care teams.
