Job summary

Live Star Home Care is seeking a Caregiver/Personal Care Aide to provide non-medical support and companionship to seniors and individuals with disabilities or chronic illnesses in their homes. You will assist with daily living activities, promote independence, and maintain a safe, caring home environment.

Responsibilities include personal care, meal prep, light housekeeping, transportation, and non-medical medication reminders.

Qualifications

• Minimum age of 18 years.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• Previous caregiving, CNA, or home care experience preferred
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license preferred
• Compassionate, dependable, and patient personality

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care needs such as bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility.
• Provide companionship and emotional support through conversation and engagement.
• Help with light housekeeping, laundry, and maintaining a clean living space.
• Prepare and assist with meals and snacks according to dietary preferences.
• Support clients with transfers, ambulation, and safe movement throughout their homes.
• Provide medication reminders (non-medical).
• Accompany clients to appointments, errands, or recreational activities.
• Observe and report any changes in the client's physical or emotional condition to the supervisor.
• Follow care plans, schedules, and agency policies to ensure consistent and reliable service.
