Job summary

Cornerstone Caregiving in Carmel Valley is seeking a strong, dependable caregiver for a nonverbal male client. The role involves hands-on personal care and requires patience and attentiveness.

The schedule is Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Duties include bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding, transfers, mobility support, incontinence care, fall prevention, dementia care, and assistance with mobility aids. Experience with nonverbal clients is preferred.

Qualifications

• The ideal caregiver must be patient, attentive, physically capable of assisting with transfers, and experienced in providing hands-on personal care.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Provide feeding assistance.
• Support safe transferring and mobility.
• Attend to incontinence care.
• Support fall prevention and close supervision.
• Provide dementia and Alzheimer's care.
• Assist with wheelchair, walker, shower chair, and hospital bed.
• Maintain patient communication with a nonverbal client.
