Job summary

Senior-Solutions-Management-Group in Sugar Land, TX is seeking a dedicated Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide routine daily care and support to residents requiring long-term or rehabilitative care under supervision. You will assist residents with daily routines, report observations, support care plans, and help maintain a safe and comfortable living environment.

Minimum high school diploma; previous CNA experience preferred; English proficiency required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Nursing assistant experience or student nurse preferred.
• Experience working with the elderly is desirable.
• Must be able to read, speak and write the English language.

Responsibilities

• Assists the resident in daily routines, personal care and housekeeping tasks as needed.
• Reports observations and pertinent information related to resident care.
• Reviews care plans to determine changes in daily care routines.
• Provides input in formulation and evaluation of standards of care.
• Participates in identifying staff educational needs.
• Conducts self professionally per unit policies.
• Surveys for safety and tidies resident rooms daily; changes linens weekly or as needed.
• Assists with activity participation and documentation of resident participation.
• Ensures call lights are answered promptly and respond to requests.
• Assists with dietary responsibilities including serving meals and cleaning area.
• Maintains confidentiality of resident care information.
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor or Executive Director.
