Job summary

Easter Seals Southern California seeks compassionate staff to provide personal care for adults with developmental disabilities in licensed residential homes. You will assist with daily living activities, meals, and transportation to appointments, while documenting progress and coordinating with the care team.

Required are a high school diploma or GED, and DSP-I/II certification within one year, plus CPR, CPI and First Aid certifications.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• DSP-I and/or DSP-II certification must be attained within first year.
• Valid CPR, CPI and First Aid certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care for adults with developmental disabilities.
• Assist with daily living activities and meal preparation.
• Administer and monitor medications as directed.
• Maintain housekeeping and clothing laundering for residents.
• Document daily activities and participate in trainings and staff meetings.
• Transport residents locally using company vehicle when needed; support recreational activities.
