Job summary

Easter Seals Southern California, Inc. cares for adults with developmental disabilities in a licensed residential home. You will provide personal care, assist with meals, and help residents achieve independence under IPP/ISP goals.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, DSP-I/II certification within the first year, and CPR/CPI/First Aid. 1–2 years in similar settings preferred; valid California driver’s license may be needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; DSP-I/II certification required or attained within first year.
• CPR, CPI and First Aid certifications required.
• 1–2 years in licensed residential setting with medicalFragile adults and/or behavioral issues.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care including eating, hygiene, showering, and toilet assistance.
• Assist with meals per dietary restrictions; support G-tube feeding if needed.
• Assist in administration and monitoring of medications.
• Maintain and document daily reports; complete mandatory trainings.
• Transport residents as needed and participate in recreational activities.
