Job summary

REM Community Services, part of the Sevita family, is hiring a caregiver to support individuals with developmental disabilities. Pay is $19.85 per hour, with a schedule Thursday 8a-2p, Friday 8a-10p and every other weekend 8a-10p.

A valid driver's license and clean MVR are required. You’ll help with personal care, assist with community participation, and support goals like budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.

Qualifications

• Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Patient, compassionate, reliable, and responsible
• Valid driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with personal hygiene and support those with behavioral challenges and other complex needs
• Help participants achieve developmental goals like budgeting, exercise, and nutrition
• Develop real, meaningful relationships with the individuals you serve
• Support participants to be part of the community and enjoy their favorite activities
