Job summary

Oakmont Management Group is seeking a Care Provider for its Ivy Park community in Irvine. The role involves assisting residents with daily living activities, ensuring dignity and safety, and communicating changes in condition to supervisors. Your work supports residents’ independence and quality of life.

Experience is welcome but not required; training is provided. A high school diploma or GED is required, and applicants must pass background and health screenings, with vaccination/PPE compliance

Qualifications

• Experience preferred but not necessary; we will train the right candidate.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs.
• Possess written and verbal skills to interact and communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, physicians, healthcare professionals, residents, and their families.
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including physical and TB Tests.
• May require vaccination and PPE per regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents in Activities of Daily Living (ADL) per care plan (eating, bathing, dressing, toileting, transferring, continence).
• Respond promptly to residents' needs while maintaining dignity and safety.
• Report changes in residents' condition to a supervisor.
• Maintain a safe environment for staff, residents, and guests following safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork and cooperative interactions across departments.
