Job summary

Home Helpers of Gwinnett is hiring experienced, dependable, and compassionate caregivers for weekend, PRN, and part-time daytime shifts in Lawrenceville, Georgia, and surrounding areas. We are seeking caregivers who are committed to providing quality, client‑centered care and assisting individuals with activities of daily living in the comfort of their homes.

Candidates must have at least three years of caregiving experience, reliable transportation, and the ability to start immediately.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of caregiving experience required.
• Reliable transportation required.
• Availability for weekend, daytime, or PRN assignments, depending on the position.
• Ability to start immediately.
• Dependable, punctual, patient, and compassionate.
• Comfortable assisting with personal care and activities of daily living.
• Good communication skills and the ability to follow care instructions.
• Willingness to complete applicable employer screening and documentation requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care assistance according to each client's individual needs and care plan.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene.
• Offer companionship and emotional support while promoting dignity and independence.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation when appropriate.
• Prepare meals and provide assistance with eating as needed.
• Perform light housekeeping related to client care.
• Provide medication reminders in accordance with care instructions and applicable regulations.
• Observe clients' well‑being and report significant changes or concerns.
• Follow established care plans, infection-control procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Protect client confidentiality and maintain professional boundaries.
• Communicate promptly regarding schedule changes, client needs, and care‑related updates.
