Home Helpers Home Care of Gwinnett in Lawrenceville, GA is seeking an experienced, compassionate Caregiver for a part-time weekend schedule. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of caregiving experience, a caring attitude, and strong communication skills to support a client with balance and safety needs.

The role involves assisting with meals, personal care, medication reminders, mobility support, light housekeeping, and maintaining a respectful, safe care environment.

Competenze

• Minimum 3 years of caregiving experience.
• Driver's License required.
• Background check and hiring requirements.
• Negative TB test results.
• CPR/First Aid Certificate required.

Mansioni

• Assist the client with meal preparation and eating as needed.
• Assist with showering, dressing, toileting, and changing adult undergarments.
• Provide medication reminders according to the care plan.
• Assist with transfers and walking, taking extra precautions due to fall risk.
• Provide support with mobility as the client has left-sided weakness from a stroke.
• Change bed linens and make the bed.
• Perform light housekeeping, including cleaning the bathroom, vacuuming, doing laundry, and emptying trash.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment while treating the client with dignity, patience, and respect.
