Job summary

Home Helpers Home Care is hiring experienced caregivers for weekend, PRN, and part-time daytime shifts in Lawrenceville, Georgia, and surrounding areas. We seek dependable, compassionate professionals with at least 3 years of caregiving experience to provide in-home personal care and support with activities of daily living.

Applicants should have reliable transportation and be able to start immediately. HHA, PCA, or CNA credentials are a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of caregiving experience.
• Reliable transportation.
• Availability for weekend, daytime, or PRN assignments.
• Ability to start immediately.
• Dependable, punctual, patient and compassionate.
• Comfortable assisting with activities of daily living.
• Good communication skills and ability to follow care instructions.
• Willingness to complete applicable employer screening.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care assistance according to each client's care plan.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene.
• Offer companionship and emotional support while promoting dignity and independence.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation as appropriate.
• Prepare meals and assist with eating as needed.
• Perform light housekeeping related to client care.
• Provide medication reminders per care instructions and regulations.
• Observe clients' well-being and report changes or concerns.
• Follow established care plans, infection-control procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Protect client confidentiality and maintain professional boundaries.
• Communicate schedule changes, client needs, and care-related updates.
