Job summary

Companions & Homemakers is hiring caring professionals to provide non-medical home care across Connecticut. You will follow each client’s Plan of Care, transport to appointments, assist with daily tasks, and offer companionship to seniors in their homes.

We offer flexible scheduling across multiple shifts, including overnights and live-in options, along with benefits and ongoing training. A valid driver’s license and background check are required, with competitive hourly pay and referral bonuses.

Qualifications

• Open availability preferred.
• Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable vehicle.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Experience as a Caregiver, HHA, CNA, PCA, or Companion is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-medical home care following each client's individualized Plan of Care.
• Transport clients to appointments and activities.
• Help with light housekeeping, meal prep, errands, and grocery shopping.
• Assist with dressing, bathing, mobility, and incontinence care.
• Be a steady, caring presence — offering companionship and emotional support.
• Document care and provide reminders as directed.
