Qualifications

• Previous caregiving experience preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Knowledge of basic housekeeping and safe meal preparation.
• Ability to follow care plans and safety guidelines.
• Compassionate, respectful, and patient demeanor.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• High ethical standards and reliability.
• Physical stamina and ability to assist with mobility.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with taking prescribed medications.
• Support safe ambulation and mobility (in home and during outings).
• Provide personal care and hygiene assistance (bathing, grooming, toileting, dressing).
• Help with prescribed physical therapy and mobility exercises.
• Plan, prepare, and serve meals based on dietary needs and client preferences.
• Run errands and assist with or accompany clients while shopping.
• Perform light housekeeping to maintain a safe environment.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Observe and report changes in client condition or incidents.
• Respond promptly and responsibly in emergencies.
