Visiting Angels Greenville & Anderson, SC seeks compassionate caregivers to provide exceptional in-home care to seniors and adults who wish to remain safely and comfortably in their own homes.

As a caregiver, you'll make a meaningful difference daily by providing companionship, personal care, and support that enhances clients' quality of life. Training and ongoing development are available in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of professional caregiving experience preferred
• Experience caring for seniors or adults with dementia, Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, stroke recovery or mobility limitations
• Experience providing personal care including bathing, dressing, toileting and transfers
• Experience using mobility equipment is a plus
• Previous experience in home care or healthcare facilities preferred
• Overnight, weekend, or live-in shifts experience is a plus
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene
• Help clients with medication reminders as directed
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation
• Accompany clients to medical appointments, errands, and walks
• Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding when needed
• Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and household organization
• Grocery shop or accompany clients while shopping
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Assist with approved physical therapy or exercise routines
• Observe and report changes in a client's condition or any unusual incidents
• Respond appropriately in emergency situations
