Visiting Angels Greenville & Anderson, SC is seeking a compassionate Caregiver to provide high-quality, non-clinical care to our clients in their homes. Shifts vary, with weekday and weekend availability; the role can include mornings, afternoons, evenings, and overnight coverage.

The ideal candidate is patient, dependable, with strong communication skills, able to follow care plans, assist with daily living activities, mobility, meals, hygiene, and companionship.

Qualifications

• Previous caregiving experience preferred.
• Knowledge of CPR and basic first aid preferred.
• Ability to follow care plans and safety guidelines.
• Strong communication, empathy and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with taking prescribed medications.
• Support mobility, including transfers, walking, and appointments.
• Provide personal care such as bathing, grooming, and hygiene.
• Assist with physical therapy exercises as directed.
• Plan and prepare meals based on dietary needs.
• Light housekeeping and errands as needed.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Monitor changes and report incidents; respond to emergencies.
