Job summary

Vacaville Senior Living is hiring a Caregiver to support residents with daily living activities and personal care at our facility in Vacaville, CA. The role emphasizes compassion, reliability, and the ability to assist with mobility, bathing, toileting, and daily tasks.

Qualified applicants will have HCA or caregiving experience in a skilled nursing or assisted living setting and be comfortable handling sensitive health information and bodily fluids.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid HCA or Caregiving experience in a skilled nursing or assisted living facility.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds at a time.
• Ability to reach, bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Various personal care services as necessary to meet the client’s or patient’s needs.
• Providing assistance with daily tasks, including feeding, meal preparation, linen changes, light housekeeping, transportation to doctor appointments, outdoor activities, and shopping.
• Assisting client with mobility work and documenting observed changes to the Director of Nursing.
• Must be able to assist with bathing and toileting.
• Must be comfortable around bodily fluids and able to transfer residents from wheelchair to bed.
