Job summary

Magnolia Court in Vacaville, California seeks a compassionate caregiver to assist residents with daily living activities and maintain a safe, respectful environment. You will follow service plans, observe resident rights, and support residents with emotional and behavioral needs while collaborating with a caring team.

Responsibilities include assisting with meals, housekeeping, and mobility tasks, answering call bells promptly, and helping develop and revise service plans to ensure quality care.

Qualifications

• Must be drug free and submit to Urinary Analysis Drug screening upon hire and routinely.
• Must pass Criminal Background Check, Health Screening including TB test.
• Must be eighteen (18) years old.
• CPR and first aid certification required.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret care plans.
• Assisted Living/Memory Care regulations knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADL tasks as per service plans.
• Observe resident rights and report changes promptly to LN on duty.
• Support residents with emotional and behavioral issues.
• Assist on floors and with meals, housekeeping, and laundry as needed.
• Encourage and lead activities; assist in development and revision of service plans.
• Answer pendant/pull cords immediately.
• Maintain knowledge of community call/communication system.
• All other duties as assigned.
