Job summary
Assisting Hands Home Care is seeking caring professionals in Dedham to assist clients with daily activities, mobility, and meals. You will provide compassionate, patient-centered care under RN supervision, with opportunities for advancement in a supportive team.
Current CNA/HHA certification or caregiving experience is preferred. Excellent communication and reliable transportation are valued as you help improve clients’ quality of life in the Norfolk and Suffolk County area.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in English.
- CNA or HHA certification or caregiving experience required.
- Nursing students seeking patient care experience welcome.
Responsibilities
- Assist with daily activities (bathing, dressing, grooming).
- Assist with mobility, transfers, light exercise or walking.
- Prepare and serve meals for clients.
- Medication reminders and training provided.
- Provide companionship and engage clients in activities.
- Maintain a clean, safe home environment for clients.
- Occasional transportation for appointments or errands (miles reimbursed).
- Follow care plans and deliver patient-centered care.
