Job summary

Assisting Hands Home Care is seeking caring caregivers to provide in-home support across the Norfolk and Suffolk Counties area, with an RN Supervisor in the field to support each team. If you are compassionate, reliable, and eager to make a difference, you will be welcomed and valued in a team that treats caregivers well.

You will build connections, enhance clients’ quality of life, and have access to ongoing training and development.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in English.
• Current CNA or HHA certification or caregiving experience.
• Nursing students seeking patient care experience.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to pass background checks.
• Strong communication and caring demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily activities such as bathing, dressing and grooming.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, light exercise or walking.
• Prepare and serve meals.
• Medication reminders and adherence.
• Provide companionship and engage clients in activities.
• Maintain a clean and safe home environment.
• Occasional transportation for clients and errands.
