Job summary
Assisting Hands Home Care in Boston, MA is seeking compassionate caregivers to join our team. You will assist clients with daily activities, provide companionship, and help maintain dignity and comfort in their homes.
Current CNA or HHA certification or caregiving experience is preferred; nursing students welcome. You will work under an RN supervisor, receive ongoing training, and have opportunities for advancement.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in English.
- Current CNA or HHA certification or caregiving experience.
- Nursing students welcome for patient care exposure.
- Prior home care experience is a plus; compassionate attitude matters most.
- Strong communication and empathy are essential.
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily activities (bathing, dressing, grooming).
- Assist with mobility, transfers, light exercise or walking.
- Prepare and serve meals.
- Provide medication reminders and reinforce care plans.
- Offer companionship and engage in activities.
- Maintain a clean and safe home environment.
- Provide occasional transportation and reimburse miles.
