Job summary

Cheer Home Care in San Marcos, CA is actively hiring a Caregiver to provide compassionate non-medical home care to elderly and disabled clients. You will assist with ADLs, companionship, transportation, light housekeeping, and dementia-related care, with a typical schedule of 5 hours (8am-1pm) on Mondays and Thursdays; pay ranges from $20 to $23 per hour.

We offer weekly payments, flexible scheduling, ongoing training and 24/7 office support, plus health, dental, vision and 401(k) with a 4%

Qualifications

• Provide non-medical home care including personal care, companionship, homemaking, and transportation.
• Experience with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, toileting, hygiene assistance, and light meal prep.
• Ability to drive clients in their own vehicle (mileage reimbursement).
• Certifications that are preferred but not required: CNA, HHA, CPR, First Aid, AED.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate non-medical home care to the elderly and disabled.
• Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Provide companionship, transportation to appointments, and light housekeeping.
• Support dementia, Alzheimer's, Parkinson's and hospice care as needed.
