Job summary

MBK Senior Living seeks a dedicated Caregiver to support residents in daily living activities in our California communities. This on-call role involves assisting with bathing, dressing, meals, transportation to activities, and maintaining resident dignity with compassionate care.

The position requires reading care plans, following safety procedures, and responding promptly to alerts. Training pathways and benefits are provided to empower career growth within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Age 18 or over with work authorization.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Nurses Aid certification preferred.
• Must be able to read and speak English.
• Background clearances as required by government regulations.
• Prior caregiving experience preferred but on-the-job training is available.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and hygiene.
• Read and follow care plans to provide proper care.
• Transport residents to meals and activities.
• Provide mealtime assistance and serve meals.
• Chart and document resident information and report changes.
• Respond to resident alerts promptly.
• Ensure safety and comfort during transfers and mobility.
