Job summary

Eagle Senior Living in Melbourne, FL is seeking a compassionate Caregiver to join our Assisted Living or Memory Care team. You will be a primary provider of resident care, promoting physical, personal, and emotional well-being while supporting independence.

The role reports to the Director and does not supervise others; you will follow individualized service plans, assist with ADLs, monitor vital signs, and help residents participate in activities. A patient, respectful approach is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Nursing Assistant Training Program certificate preferred.
• CNA certification preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification may be required by state regulations.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Follow ISP and observe residents, reporting changes to nursing staff.
• Check and record vital signs and other data as assigned.
• Assist residents with bathing, ADLs, and mobility with proper technique.
• Provide prompts, redirection, and supportive assistance to residents.
• Encourage participation in scheduled activities and assist with transportation.
• Respond promptly to urgent calls and support teamwork with nursing staff.
