Discovery Village Castle Hills in Lewisville, TX is seeking a dedicated Caregiver to enrich the lives of seniors through hands-on care, emotional support, and daily living assistance. You will help residents with personal care, mobility, and activity engagement in a safe, home‑like environment.

Qualifications

• CNA certification preferred.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Prior experience working with seniors preferred.
• Strong communication with residents, team members, and leadership.
• Compassionate, resident‑focused approach with superior customer service skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Sound judgment, problem‑solving, and decision‑making abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on care and physical and emotional support to residents.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, ambulation, transferring, and eating.
• Respond promptly to security system and resident call bells.
• Support residents to maintain independence with dignity and safety.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of resident rooms and work areas.
• Offer companionship, encouragement, and emotional support to residents.
• Engage residents in meaningful life skills activities and enrichment programs.
• Notify supervisor or health care coordinator if a resident’s care needs increase.
