Job summary

Nurse Next Door in Redwood City, CA is hiring Home Care Aides for part-time and full-time shifts from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, Monday–Sunday. You will follow care plans, assist with daily living activities, meals, light housekeeping, and transportation for appointments.

We offer a flexible schedule, paid orientation and training, mileage reimbursement, and opportunities for professional development. Candidates must relocate to Redwood City or nearby areas and maintain an active home care aide

Qualifications

• Experience as Home Care Aide or similar caregiving role.
• Ability to assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Reliable record-keeping and reporting changes to supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Execute the client’s care plan as outlined by the Care Designer.
• Help clients with ADLs within the scope of a Registered Health Care Aide.
• Assist with personal hygiene, meal planning and preparation.
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry tasks.
• Remind about medications and ensure client safety.
• Report changes in client condition to administrator or care designer.
• Complete service records and drive clients to appointments.
• Maintain active home care aide registration with CA HCSB.
