Job summary

Elara Caring is hiring a Caregiver Personal Care Aide (PCA) to provide in-home support, helping with daily living activities and comfort for clients in need. The role includes personal care, mobility assistance, meal prep, and companionship in a home setting.

You will assist with bathing, grooming, transfers, and safety in the home. Training is provided with scheduling flexibility, competitive pay up to $16/hour, daily pay options, and benefits as part of the package.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience providing care to elderly or disabled individuals preferred.
• Compassionate, patient, and dependable personality.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable transportation to travel to client homes.
• Ability to lift, stand, and assist clients up to 50 pounds.
• Committed to providing high-quality, client-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care support, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene assistance.
• Assist clients with mobility, transfers, and daily living activities.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding when needed.
• Perform housekeeping, laundry, and household tasks.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to improve quality of life.
• Assist with errands, grocery shopping, and transportation to appointments (when applicable).
• Promote a safe, comfortable, and respectful environment for each client.
