Job summary

Comfort Keepers in South Carolina is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide in-home care and companionship to clients. You will assist with daily activities, mobility, light housekeeping, meal prep, and medication reminders, while delivering safety and dignity in a familiar home setting.

We offer flexible part-time and full-time shifts with competitive pay between $14 and $16 per hour, plus benefits such as 401K and health coverage.

Qualifications

• 6 months of caregiving experience preferred (family experience counts).
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform necessary movements.
• Empathy, patience, and a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Personal Support: Help with daily grooming, hygiene, and toileting needs.
• Safe Mobility: Assist with movement and transfers (including hoyer lifts and gait belts).
• HOMEMAKING & MEAL PREP: Light housekeeping, laundry, and cooking to keep a safe home.
• Engagement & Care: Provide companionship, reminders, and care for dementia clients.
• Reliable Support: Run errands, transportation, and additional client support.
