Job summary

Comfort Keepers is seeking CAREgivers to provide compassionate in-home care for seniors in Columbia, SC. You will assist with personal care, mobility support, light housekeeping, and meal preparation while delivering meaningful companionship.

We offer flexible schedules, competitive pay of $15–$17 per hour, and benefits including 401K and health coverage. Join a caring team that supports caregivers with field coordination and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• 6 months of caregiving experience preferred (family experience counts).
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist with daily activities.

Responsibilities

• Help with daily grooming, hygiene, and toileting needs.
• Provide safe mobility support and use hoyer lifts and gait belts as needed.
• Perform homemaking tasks, light housekeeping, laundry, and meal prep.
• Offer companionship and reminiscence, plus medication reminders as directed.
• Run errands and provide transportation support for clients.
