Job summary

Comfort Keepers is seeking compassionate CAREgivers to bring comfort, joy, and independence to seniors at home in South Carolina. We offer competitive pay, flexible schedules, and a supportive team that values your care and dedication.

As a CAREgiver, you’ll assist with daily living, mobility, light housekeeping, meal prep, and companionship while maintaining safety. Previous caregiving helps, but kindness and reliability are the core requirements; valid driver’s license is needed.

Qualifications

• 6 months of caregiving experience preferred (family experience counts!)
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform necessary movements
• Heart for Caring and a positive attitude

Responsibilities

• Help with daily grooming, hygiene, and toileting needs
• Assist with mobility and transfers (including hoyer lifts and gait belts)
• Create a safe, clean home environment with light housekeeping, laundry, and cooking
• Provide companionship, medication reminders, and specialized care for dementia clients
• Run errands, provide transportation, and more
