Job summary

Comfort Keepers in Sumter, South Carolina, is seeking compassionate CAREgivers to bring comfort, joy, and independence to seniors at home. You will provide daily personal care, mobility support, light housekeeping and meal prep to help clients live safely in their own homes.

We offer flexible schedules, part-time and full-time opportunities, competitive pay ($14-$16/hour), benefits including health, dental and 401K, along with on-the-job training and field support to help you succeed.

Qualifications

• 6 months caregiving experience preferred (family experience counts).
• Empathy, patience and a positive attitude.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform related movements.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal support with grooming, hygiene and toileting.
• Assist with safe mobility and transfers using equipment.
• Perform light housekeeping, meal prep and homemaking.
• Offer companionship and reminders for medications and dementia care.
• Run errands, provide transportation, and support clients as needed.
