Job summary

Abound Health seeks a Direct Support Professional (DSP) / Caregiver to assist individuals with IDD in daily living, community participation and skill-building. You will provide compassionate, reliable support, helping clients live independently and reach personal goals.

Starting pay $15.40–$17 per hour with a $1,000 signing bonus paid in installments based on hours. Flexible schedules include full-time and part-time opportunities, weekly pay, paid training, and room for growth within a

Qualifications

Must be 18 years or older.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Ability to pass criminal background check, driving record, and healthcare registry checks.
Willingness to address personal care needs when necessary.
Lifting may be required depending on client needs.

Responsibilities

Build positive relationships and support individuals in achieving personal goals.
Assist with daily living activities such as meal preparation, hygiene, and household tasks.
Support individuals in community participation, employment, and social activities.
Use adaptive tools to aid learning and facilitate communication.
Encourage independence and help individuals develop new skills.
Monitor health and safety while maintaining a supportive environment.
Communicate with Abound team members, families, and external parties as needed.
Complete documentation and maintain schedules.
Participate in ongoing training and professional development.
