Job summary

REM Community Services, part of Sevita, is hiring caregivers to support individuals with developmental disabilities across community settings. You’ll help with personal care, daily living skills, and community involvement, while building meaningful relationships with participants and their families.

The role offers competitive pay at $17 per hour, full benefits for full-time staff, PTO and holiday pay, plus a supportive supervisory network and opportunities for learning and development.

Qualifications

• Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong communication, adaptability and time-management skills.
• Valid driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with insurance.

Responsibilities

• Assist participants with personal hygiene and support individuals with behavioral challenges and complex needs.
• Help participants develop developmental goals such as budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.
• Foster relationships and help participants engage in community activities.
