Job summary

Adult Enrichment Services is seeking a Direct Support Professional (Caregiver) to provide compassionate in-home and community-based support in California. You will assist with daily living activities, mobility, and social participation, promoting independence and safety.

Responsibilities include personal care, transportation to appointments, and collaboration with a supportive team. Prior caregiving experience is preferred; training is available. Competitive pay and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of caregiving experience preferred.
• Eligible to work in caregiving field.
• Clean driving record and car insurance.
• CPR/First Aid Training, TB Test, Fingerprints Required
• Willingness to work with individuals with minor behaviors
• Passionate about positively impacting lives and maintaining high standards of care.
• Ability to follow care plans and work well in a team.

Responsibilities

• Providing personal care, which may involve assisting individuals with changing diapers, showering, and using equipment like a Hoyer lift for mobility support.
• Assisting with activities of daily living to promote independence.
• Maintaining increased or line-of-sight supervision for safety and support.
• Supporting individuals in participating in community activities and fostering safe behaviors.
• Helping individuals with enhanced behavioral needs and structured routines.
• Safely transporting individuals to appointments, activities, or other destinations as needed.
