Job summary

Monarch Communities is seeking a Caregiver to support residents under the supervision of the Health & Wellness Director. The role is non-exempt and paid at $21.00 per hour.

Responsibilities include assisting residents with daily activities and adhering to the resident care plans. The ideal candidate will have a Certified Nursing Assistant and/or DHS certification with a High School Diploma and experience working with the elderly, including dementia exposure preferred.

Qualifications

• CNA or DHS certification required; HS diploma required.
• Experience with elderly population; dementia experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident care including bathing, dressing, toileting, and feeding per care plan.
• Maintain safety, comfort, dignity, and confidentiality of residents.
• Escort residents to meals and activities; assist with daily living tasks.
• Ensure residents are clean, dressed, safe, and fed during shifts.
• Document services provided during shift.
• Report changes in resident condition to supervisor.
