Job summary

JEVS Care at Home in Pittsburgh is seeking caregivers for shifts in Crafton Heights, Crafton, Squirrel Hill and Hazelwood. Benefits include PTO, medical/dental coverage (minimum hours), weekly pay, in-services/training, dementia training, and EVV incentives.

Caregivers assist clients per their care plans, learn ADLs, access PPE, and receive CPR/First Aid and dementia training as professional development. Candidates must be 18+, have a HS diploma/GED, be U.S.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• HS diploma or GED required
• CNA certification preferred but not required
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
• Ability to communicate with Client Care Manager
• Caregiver Orientation completion
• Pass orientation exam with 80% passing score
• U.S. citizen or authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients in daily living per care plan
• Follow activities of daily living and use PPE as needed
• Complete instrumental activities of daily living per Plan of Care
• Maintain confidentiality per HIPAA regulations
