Job summary

JEVS Care at Home in the United States is seeking a dedicated Caregiver to support clients in daily living according to their care plans. You will receive training on ADLs and PPE, with access to CPR/First Aid and Dementia Training as part of ongoing professional development.

The role emphasizes independent living, requires 18+, HS diploma/GED, and ability to follow instructions; JEVS offers PPE, in-services, paid training, and competitive weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Certified Nurse Aide certification preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to effectively communicate with Client Care Manager.
• Completion of Caregiver Orientation and post-orientation assessment.

Responsibilities

• The Caregiver will demonstrate understanding of and encourage the independent living philosophy.
• The JEVS Care at Home Caregiver will complete a competency examination after attending a training and orientation, with annual re-certification thereafter.
• The Caregiver will maintain confidentiality of client information as per HIPAA regulations.
• The Caregiver will complete instrumental activities of daily living, according to the client’s Plan of Care.
