Firefly Supported Living & Employment Services in Perryville, Missouri is seeking a Direct Support Professional (Caregiver). This full-time role offers paid training, a supportive culture, and opportunities to help adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities achieve independence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Good communication and people skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic computer skills for documenting and communication.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license (if applicable).
• Pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Assist developmentally disabled clients in homes and communities.
• Help clients access community resources and participate in social activities.
• Provide transportation to appointments and shopping.
• Teach independent living skills (cooking, cleaning, budgeting).
• Write notes on client progress and communicate with families and staff.
• Follow the Individual Support Plan (ISP) and attend trainings.
