Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with vocational training.
• Must pass TOFHLA literacy test.
• Up to six months of related experience or equivalent.
• Maintain BLS certification.
• Valid driver's license and proof of insurance; MVR required.
• Complete Proxy Caregivers training within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal hygiene and routine care such as bathing, dressing, shaving, and oral care.
• Take and report vital signs and collect basic medical history observations.
• Observe and assist under supervision, escalating needs to nurses/LPNs.
• Support ambulation, mobility, and comfort measures for residents.
• Contribute to safety, infection control, and quality care initiatives.
