Job summary

Crisp Regional Health Services (CRHS) is seeking an Agency Certified Nursing Assistant to provide culturally sensitive, developmentally appropriate patient care under supervision.

The role requires a CNA certification, a high school diploma or GED, and at least one year of related experience. You will work closely with licensed nurses to deliver quality care and support ongoing safety initiatives at CRHS.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED with state certification.
• One year of work-related experience.
• Certified Nursing Assistant certification required and maintained.

Responsibilities

• Works as part of an interdisciplinary team with effective communication with patients, families, visitors, physicians, coworkers and other departments.
• Provides direct support to nursing staff and follows directions to deliver quality patient care.
• Alerts nursing and medical staff to changes in the patient’s condition.
• Operates medical equipment safely (e.g., blood pressure machines, SCD devices).
• Collects and transports patient specimens for laboratory analysis as directed.
• Assists patients with basic hygiene and personal care.
• Maintains safety and supports infection control and performance improvement initiatives.
• Represents a professional image to patients and staff.
• Participates in continuing education and professional development.
