Qualifications

• Must obtain CNA certification within four months of hire.
• Current CPR/BLS certification, or ability to obtain upon hire.
• Ability to perform required resident care, transfers, and repositioning using safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Help residents with daily routines (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating).
• Assist with movement, repositioning, and transfers using proper techniques and equipment.
• Promptly answer call lights and respond to residents’ requests with patience and care.
• Observe residents, report changes to nursing staff, and document care provided.
• Keep residents’ surroundings clean, comfortable, and safe.
