Job summary

Lakewood Rehabilitation and Healthcare is seeking Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA), including both seasoned and new graduates, to deliver direct, compassionate care in a short-stay and long-term facility. CNAs will assist with ADLs, monitor residents, and maintain safety and infection control while collaborating with nurses and a supportive team.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, CNA course completion, PA CNA certification, and PA RN licensure may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Graduate of an accredited CNA course.
• PA CNA certification is required.
• PA state licensure as RN may be required per facility policy.

Responsibilities

• Ambulate or assist in ambulation of residents.
• Transfer residents from bed to chair or toilet as needed.
• Lift residents using appropriate techniques or mechanical lift.
• Bath, dress, and assist with personal hygiene.
• Document care provided in the medical record.
• Observe infection control procedures and safety policies.
• Report changes in resident condition to supervisor.
• Respond to emergencies calmly and professionally.
• Load and push laundry carts; assist with housekeeping duties.
• Drive facility vehicle for appointments when required.
