Job summary

SYNERGY HomeCare in Opelika is seeking a compassionate Caregiver/CNA to provide in-home care and companionship. This part-time position offers flexibility and meaningful community impact.

You will assist with daily living activities, monitor client needs, and collaborate with health professionals to develop personalized care plans, ensuring dignity and safety for each client we serve.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 0-2 years of healthcare or related field experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate in-home care and companionship to clients.
• Assist with daily living activities and medication management.
• Develop positive relationships with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
• Perform bathing, dressing, grooming, and other personal care tasks with dignity.
• Assist with light housekeeping, meals, and errands to promote independence.
• Monitor client condition and report changes to the care team.
