Avamere Skilled Advisors, LLC d/b/a Avamere Living seeks a Caregiver for Assisted Living in Sherwood, OR. The role involves assisting with ADLs, emotional support, and ensuring resident safety and well-being, with on-call and weekend shifts available.

The position is full- and part-time, with pay between $18.58 and $24.24 per hour depending on experience. CPR/First Aid and Food Handler's Card are required; EMR experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must have CPR/First Aid certification during employment.
• Food Handler's Card is required.
• Experience documenting in EMR systems preferred.
• 18 years or older with a friendly, professional demeanor.
• Desire to improve quality of life for seniors.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to residents.
• Assist with mobility, meal prep, and housekeeping tasks.
• Monitor health, report concerns to medical staff, and observe vital signs.
• Maintain confidentiality and a safe environment; orient new residents and staff.
